ClassMod Student Livin

The mini renovation of a 58 sq.m. apartment in the center of Thessaloniki is an example of blending classic and contemporary architectural elements. The renovation, designed for long-term rental with a focus on the student market, was based on a balanced approach between functionality and aesthetics.
Without the need for wall removal, a new living and dining area was created that did not previously exist. Through the use of curves and semi-curved lines, a sense of cohesion and flow was achieved between the kitchen and living room, offering the feeling of a unified space.
The lighting design and study highlight the architectural details, while the plaster decorations on the walls enhance the classic features of the space. These details were harmoniously combined with the modern style of the furniture, light fixtures, and the poured cement floor chosen, giving a modern, minimalist aesthetic.
The large-format marble-effect granite tiles ideally reflect the light sources, lending the space a sense of luxury. Additionally, the integration of a projector instead of a traditional TV offers a modern technological solution, in tune with the design’s contemporary spirit.
